Reginald Blaber, MD


Dr. Reginald Blaber is President of Lourdes Health System, serving as the organization’s first physician executive. He is also a practicing clinical cardiologist who still sees patients on a limited basis.

As President of Lourdes, Dr. Blaber is responsible for the overall strategy and operations of the health system and its affiliates, including two acute care hospitals, multiple outpatient facilities, a physician network, and a growing Accountable Care Organization.

Prior to his appointment, Dr. Blaber was responsible for the quality, operational efficiency, patient experience, and financial performance of the cardiovascular service line in the three hospitals of the Lourdes Health System and for Lourdes Cardiology.

His past experience includes being President of the Lourdes Medical Associates, working in private practice for 12 years, and serving in the United States Army Medical Corps.

Dr. Blaber received his undergraduate degree from Bucknell University, his MD degree Hahnemann University, completed his internship and residency at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and his cardiology fellowship at Hahnemann University Hospital. In addition, Dr. Blaber recently earned his MBA at Villanova University.
